Dedicated to Excellence
We are a non-profit, non-discriminatory, service organization established in 1987. We are licensed and certified by the Pennsylvania Department of Human Services and comply with all standards set forth by that department. We are also a Keystone Stars STAR 4 Center, the highest level achievable. We are affiliated with Riverview Christian Church which meets in the same building as our school. What Our Center Offers
- We have a degreed/trained Teaching Staff
- We have trained and experienced Assistants/Aides
- Our yearly staff training hours are above state requirements
- Through Tadpoles, parents receive digital/electronic daily progress notes for Infant through Pre-K Rooms
- We have Individual Evaluations and Conferences provided 2/year
- Computers are available for Pre-School Ages & older
- We have a Security System and several fenced-in playgrounds
- Milk and snacks are included in the tuition
- We accept several sources of subsidies
How We Teach: The Teacher's Role
At RCELC, teachers are committed to providing care and early education in a loving and nurturing way. They work hard to provide a healthy, safe, and home-like environment. Teachers guide children’s learning and assess their progress in order to plan for the individual needs of each child. This will promote the acquisition of knowledge and seeds will be planted. Teachers understand the importance of providing lots of hands-on learning activities to explore the world that God made. Our goal is to help children grow and blossom into young people of character and integrity, the person God created them to be.
